Chris, I met you, Crystal, and Dylan in the park several days ago and have enjoyed so much the opportunity to visit with Crystal and Dylan several times since. Our grandchildren have enjoyed playing with Dylan. He is such a friendly young man and blessed to have you and Crystal as his parents! Crystal told me yesterday that you had this website and we could read your story. Our hearts grieve for what you have gone through but rejoice in the wonderful choices you have made to use your life to glorify God and help others. We are so happy to have you as neighbors and look forward to getting to know you and your family better. May God bless you richly as you serve him and provide hope to others. We serve an awesome and loving God!

Linda, thank you for the nice and encouraging words. My delayed response is because I assumed that I would just see you at the park but since we haven’t seen you in awhile I wanted to thank you online. Dylan loves playing with your boys also. We will talk to you soon. Thanks, Chris

One ship sails East and another sails West
On the same self winds that blow
‘Tis the set of the sail, and not the gale
Which determines the way they go
As the winds of the sea are the ways of fate
As we journey along through life
‘Tis the set of the soul that determines the goal
And not the calm of the strife
Not sure who wrote this, but I saw your story on an online news page and I immediately thought of it. I hope it means something to you =)

Great to find you, Chris! Your work is AMAZING! I too just celebrated my 10 anniversary with my husband after being single parenting for 10 years. The 5 L brothers are doing wonderfully and our 13 and 14th grand babies were born last year! Lance and his wife are trying to have a baby. When they do all the families will be started — and who knows but God when they will be finished! We are so very proud of you. Please know that we love you dearly and admire you greatly. My nephew, Lark Gwartney, shared the link to your story and the video on his Facebook page. After reading and watching it I am very thankful that you are finding your Heavenly Father to be faithful. He IS that every day. Thank you for your honesty and humility. Hope to meet you someday in Tulsa.
